Sometimes the house is perfect. Before you start thinking about more space, more square footage, or a different neighborhood, consider what a transformed garage actually unlocks.
A garage is one of the highest-return investments you can make in your home. Realtors consistently rank garage upgrades among the top features that accelerate a sale and justify a higher asking price.

Every garage is different, so we don't publish fixed package prices, but here's a realistic range to help you plan. A basic single-car epoxy floor coating starts around $1,500–$2,500. A full two-car garage transformation with floor coating, custom cabinets, overhead racks, and slatwall typically ranges from $8,000–$20,000+. The biggest variables are garage size, floor system chosen, and how much cabinet and storage coverage you want. We provide a detailed written estimate at your free in-home consultation.
Absolutely. We work with a lot of homeowners who start with the floor and come back for cabinets once they see how much better the garage looks. The one thing we recommend sequencing correctly is floors first, cabinets and storage systems install on top of or around a finished floor, and doing it in that order gives you a cleaner result. We'll walk you through the best phasing plan at your estimate.
Yes. Financing options are available through third-party lenders and can be discussed at your free estimate. Many homeowners find that monthly payments make it easier to do the full transformation at once rather than phasing it across multiple visits.
Never. Our in-home estimates are completely free and come with no obligation. Most appointments take about an hour and include a full measurement, a design consultation, and a written quote before we leave.
We don't have a formal minimum, but our installs are most cost-effective at two-car garage scale and above. For smaller projects — a single-car floor or a few cabinet sections — we're happy to discuss what makes sense and give you an honest recommendation.
The short version: materials, construction, and fit. Big box garage cabinet kits are typically made from particle board or thin-gauge steel, assembled with cam locks, and sized to approximate dimensions. Our cabinets are built from heavy duty materials in the US, finished in powder coating, and custom-sized to your exact wall dimensions so there are no gaps, no awkward corners, and no cabinets that don't quite reach. The hardware is better, the finish is harder, and the result looks like it was built for the space.
Our cabinet systems are rated to hold several hundred pounds of evenly distributed weight per shelf. Adjustable shelving can be repositioned to accommodate taller or heavier items. For very heavy concentrated loads — large toolboxes, engine parts, bulk materials — we'll note any relevant load ratings on your specific configuration during the design consultation.
Yes. Our primary cabinet line is available in a range of powder-coat colors including gloss white, matte black, slate gray, and silver metallic, among others. We'll show you the available options at your consultation so you can coordinate with your floor choice and overall garage aesthetic.
A full two-car garage cabinet system (base cabinets, wall cabinets, and towers) is typically installed in as little as one day. Larger or more complex systems may take two days. Cabinets are always installed after the floor is complete and fully cured.
Yes — and we recommend it if you use your garage as a workspace. We build work surfaces directly into the cabinet layout in butcher block, Color matching wood, or stainless steel, sized to the exact run of your base cabinets. It looks built-in because it is.
The garage needs to be fully cleared of everything on the floor and walls before our team arrives: vehicles, bins, tools, furniture, all of it. We're not able to work around stored items, and moving your belongings is not included in a standard installation. If you need help with the clearing and cleanout process, ask us about our white glove pre-install service.
We ask that the garage is cleared and ready the evening before your scheduled install date. This lets us start first thing in the morning without delays and keeps your project on timeline.
No — concrete prep is our job, not yours. We handle all grinding, crack repair, cleaning, and surface preparation as part of the installation process. The one thing that does help is making sure the concrete is dry. Avoid washing the garage floor in the few days leading up to your install date.
We assess the concrete during your free estimate and again on install day. Minor cracks and surface damage are repaired as part of our prep process. Significant structural issues — deep cracks, major settling, active water intrusion — may need to be addressed separately before coating is applied. We'll tell you honestly at the estimate if we see anything that could affect the result.
Old oil stains are common and we deal with them regularly. Surface stains are cleaned and prepped as part of our standard process. Deep contamination that has penetrated the slab over many years may require additional prep — we'll flag it during your estimate if we see it.
Yes — we offer a white glove pre-install service for homeowners who need assistance getting the garage cleared and ready. This includes sorting, hauling away unwanted items, and staging what's staying so our installation team can get to work immediately. It's an add-on service quoted separately from your installation — ask about it when you schedule your estimate.
Yes. Our post-install organization service is one of the most satisfying things we offer. Once your floor, cabinets, and slatwall are in place, we come back and help you move everything back in intentionally: assigning zones, loading cabinets, hanging accessories, and making sure your new storage system is actually being used the way it was designed. You walk in at the end with a garage that's finished, organized, and ready to use.
Yes, although e primarily offer the cleanout and reorganization service in connection with an installation project, we do offer standalone cleanouts and organization.
Yes! Although we are not a standalone painting/texture service provider, we do offer this a core add on to our projects. Clients will often ask us to include patching damaged walls, painting the interior, and matching the ceiling.
Yes, we can update and/or replace your garage door opener as well as the door.
Our floor coatings, when properly installed and maintained, are designed to last 10–20+ years under normal residential use. Our cabinet systems are built to outlast your use of them. Slatwall panels and overhead racks similarly have no functional lifespan limit. The quality of the installation matters far more than time, which is why we don't cut corners on surface prep or anchoring.
Very little. Epoxy and polished concrete floors can be cleaned with a damp mop or mild cleaner — no waxing, no resealing under normal use. Swisstrax tiles can be swept or hosed down. Cabinets wipe clean with a damp cloth. Slatwall panels require no maintenance. The goal of every system we install is a garage that looks great with minimal ongoing effort.
We schedule installations Monday through Saturday. Weekend installs are available on a limited basis — ask about availability when scheduling your estimate.
Lead times vary by season. Spring and summer tend to book out two to four weeks in advance. Fall and winter typically have more availability. We recommend reaching out as soon as you're considering a project rather than waiting until you're ready to start — estimates are free and getting on the schedule early gives you more flexibility.
